The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

This morning I managed to drag myself out of bed early enough to get to the Montgomery Curb Market before work. This is my absolute favorite time of year to go and it is imperative that you get there early! When you walk in, you are emerged with the scent of fresh greenery. It is fabulous and if it doesn't get you into the Christmas spirit, I don't know what will!

My all time favorite: BoxwoodThey have a little something for everyone...cakes, pastries, fresh vegetables. You name it, they have it!

The Happy Birthday Jesus sign is my favorite. After all, HE is the reason for the season. It is so easy to get caught up in all of hustle and bustle of Christmas that we do not take time to stop and think about what the holiday is truly about. Jesus was born to die, so that people like me (that fall short everyday) could be saved. How comforting is that? So...may we all take a minute this Christmas season to remember that tiny babe in a manger. Merry Christmas!

W

I received this little jewel in the mail yesterday:

I must say, I am pretty excited about it. I had the honor of meeting President Bush back in September and just received the picture. He was so nice and to my surprise, so funny! Definitely a moment I will always remember! Just wish my hair would have looked better for the picture! Oh well, I'll take what I can get.

Halloween Recap

Okay, so I hope everyone had a fun Halloween. I didn't dress up this year, but Maddie & Henry (my precious cousins) certainly did. Maddie & her friends chose to go as a group from "Toddlers & Tiaras". I found the idea to be absolutely hysterical. After much deliberation between batman and spider-man, Henry decided to be ninja. The pics are a little blurry, but you get the gist of it.

That is all I have for today. Happy Tuesday, everyone!

Happy Halloween

Long time, no post. I am going to try to do better, I promise. On that note, here is a little Halloween blast from the past (circa 2008):

Amy Winehouse, Red Crayon, Poodle Girl & Tiffany & Co Gift

Hope everyone has a fun & safe Halloween!

Holiday Market

Yay for Friday! Not much of a weekend for me though...today and tomorrow I will be working Holiday Market. Would MUCH rather be heading to Oxford.

Holiday Market is a 3 day shopping extravaganza that the Junior League puts on every year. I really wish that Brittany Fuson was going to be an exhibitor...would be so much fun. Oh well, maybe next year! I will post about my purchases on Monday. RTR!

Boxwood Home and Garden

I'm sure most of you have heard me talk about "my friend, Fran." Well, now you are going to hear me talk about Fran's store...Boxwood Home & Garden in Fairhope. Let me just say...it is fabulous! Fran has exquisite taste and her store exemplifies just that.

I mean, how cute is this??

Fabulousness

Currently obsessing over this ballerina for a little girl's room

If you are ever in the Fairhope area, stop by. Or if you are anything like me and are bored at work and want to sit at your computer and drool, you can find her on Facebook at Boxwood Home and Garden Fairhope .
